SGM Biotech, Inc. - Biological Indicator Gaskets

The Biological Indicator Gasket system developed with the Rubber Fab Technologies Group enables the use of EZTest® biological indicators in sanitary process lines. This unique Rubber Fab Smart Gasket® permits either top loading or inline positioning of EZTest biological indicators and/or temperature probes. Gaskets for inline positioning of SGMStrip™ are also available.

Validation engineers can now safely insert EZTest or SGMStrip biological indicators and thermocouples directly into process lines, greatly improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the validation process. The Rubber Fab Fixture and Smart Gasket make BI insertion and retrieval very simple, and the unit cannot be lost during the sterilization process.


Top Loading (EZTest Only)	Inline

The Biological Indicator Gasket is available for sanitary, Tri-Clamp process lines of 3/4" (EZTest Only), 1.0", 1.5", 2.0", 3.0" (SGMStrip Only), and 4.0" (SGMStrip Only) diameters.

Additionally, the Biological Indicator Gasket is available with a thermocouple port, providing direct temperature readings with strong biological verification.

Note: for superheated water jacketed systems, use MagnaAmp®.
